What to pack in your bag when going to train?

There are many bags that you can buy to pack all your essentials when going to train.

Here at She Lifts, we recommend Built for athletes!

They have small and large versions of their backpacks.

Below we will list all the essentials we think you should pack when heading out to train!

Training shoes:

Training shoes are of course first on the list! Without these you cant train! If you are heading out to train please don't forget your shoes!

Water bottle:

BECAUSE HYDRATION IS KEY!

Towel and spare clothes:

We know how hard you are working in the gym! So don't forget to bring your towel to wipe off your sweat and spare clothes to feel fresh when you have finished training.

Foam Roller:

Can be used before training, after training or both! A foam roller is essential for relieving muscle tightness, soreness, and inflammation.

Belt:

Not every athlete wears a belt all the time but definitely recommend for heavier lifts. A belt helps with keeping your spine in the correct position and can help maintain abdominal pressure to stabilize the spine during heavy lifting.

Wrist wraps and knee sleeves:

Again not every athlete will use these but they are a great way to support the body. Wrist wraps help to keep the wrist secure, which means that they will stop the wrist from hyperextending.

Knee sleeves provide compression and support for your knee. They increase blood flow to the area and reduce pain and help with swelling.

Wrist straps:

Wrist wraps and looped around your wrist and then wrapped around the bar. The main function of these is to help you lift more! So they are definitely essential for every athlete.

A snack:

Last but not least is a snack. All that hard work may leave you feeling peckish or you may feel a bit low on energy when training. A snack will be essential for both these situations.
